Overview

film.foundation covers the full end-to-end filmmaking process for those wanting to becoming fully independent content creators. Shooting and editing goes hand-in-hand in creating engaging content, and understanding both aspects is key to visual storytelling.

Unlike a lot of training, our modules are not pre-recorded. You have your own personal creative one-to-one for the duration of the modules to ask questions and bounce ideas around.

Before the training, we'll go through examples of content you want to create and focus the module on specific equipment or skills you'll need to develop to achieve your filmmaking goals. This ensures the best use of course time for your very own content.

With the standard package, the course structure covers:

Day 1 sharp.shooter

Level up your filming skills. Advanced camera controls, shot composition and scene coverage, capturing clean audio, lighting an interview subject as well as shooting efficiently.

Day 2 element.editing

Focused on editing your content. Importing and reviewing footage, building a narrative structure, using sound to amplify your story and a look at advanced editing techniques and colour correction.

Combining the two modules gives participants a perfect knowledge foundation to start creating their own content straight away.

Let us help you create something new.
